Dead or Alive Bar & Shop

Known locally as DOA, this über-cool wine bar on the south end of Palm Canyon Drive was founded by Christine Soto. With just 21 seats indoors and some other places to settle in on the patio, DOA attracts area denizens who might pedal their way to the front door and stay for a spell—the setting is intimate and has a definite low-key vibe. The carefully curated craft beer and the wine list is complemented by a handful of small plates for pairing.

DOA reached out to collaborate on various designed elements, including artwork supporting marketing efforts and merchandise design (2021).

wine label

DoA requested a redesign of their Vintage Rose de Carignan label. Illustrated is my take on Christine’s beloved Bougainvillea for Dead or Alive Bar & Bottle Shop’s 2021 Rose de Carignan. This Rose has been deemed “The Unofficial Rose of Palm Springs” and is available for purchase in the Spring of 2022.

DoA requested illustrations for use on their social media that fit with their established brand aesthetic.

DoA requested an amendment to their original logo that went from “Dead or Alive Wine & Bar” to “Dead or Alive Bar & Bottle Shop”.

DoA requested an updated stacked logo with a “pop of color” for marketing use at Coachella Music & Arts Festival 2022.
